KMno4 (Potasium Permanganate) and Neurodevelopmental Disabilities

The magazine THE LANCET Neurology published in their volume 13, No.3 page 330-338, in March 2014: Neurodevelopmental disabilities, including autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, dyslexia and other cognitive impairments, affects millions of children worldwide. Industrial chemicals that injure the developing brain are among the known causes for this rise in prevalence.Neurodevelopmental Disabilities 2
Since 2006 epidemiological studies have documented six additional developmental neurotoxicants. In general not only KMnO4 , fluoride, chlorpyrifos, dicloro-dipheny-trichloro-ethane, tetracholoroethylene and polybrominate diphenyl ethers.
About potassium permanganate there is a current proposal of harmonized classification. It was submitted by French authorities at 13 February, 2015 hand in at ECHA and European chemical agency under the reference’’ CLP Annex VI’’ No. 025-022-00-9.
That mean an EU legislative ask for a classification of potassium permanganate as toxic to reproduction = CMR material class 1B, h-rate 360 Df, ‘’may damage the unborn child. Suspected of damaging fertility’’.
So far it’s just a proposal. Therefor it’s not safe that it will become true, but is already in discussion now.
