Jeans Pigment Dyeing with “COLD DYEING” method.

The recipe given below is not for promotion of the chemical brands. You may find a number of other chemicals in market to complete this task. The mentioned chemicals are products of NEARCHEM and are for to give you just a right idea.

Nearchimica ready-for-dye trousers in 100% cotton Gabardine

Pre-treat goods with 5 g/l NAIGARD TN-PR, L.R. 5:1, in cold water for 10 minutes,

Hydro-extraction at 100 pick up.

Dry completely in tumble dryer at 90°C

Check water repellence.

Prepare new bath containing:

1-30 g/l NEARSTONE D pigments (dilute in cold water)

30 g/l NEARFINISH MLD (increase to 50 g/l in case of high concentrations of pigments,

more than 20 g/l).

2 g/l increase up to 10 g/l for a lower contrast – more even effect

Black trousers: 10 g/l NEARSTONE BLACK D-B

Turn in machine for approx. 3-5 min. or pad by hand at ambient temperature, squeeze very

carefully between hands (do not twist), piece by piece, or centrifuge (remaining pick up set

constantly at 100%),

Double dry in tumbler 80 – 90°C, (for higher fastness cure in oven at 140°C for 10 minutes).

Washing: 1,0 g/l NEARCAND OP Extra

0,5 g/l NEARCHEL TMC

0.5 g/l NEARFIL FAC

at 60°C for 10 min. rinse carefully.

NEUTRAL BIO-POLISH:

1.0%NEARSTONE RPN

Neutral pH, at 45-50°C for 20 minutes, rinse well.

SOFTENING:

2.0% NEARFINISH CF622

Acetic acid pH 5.5, at 40°C for 20 minutes.

N.B. Rinse the dyeing machine immediately after draining.

The tumble-dryer will get stained after the drying process and will require manual cleaning.
